Although this label is named 'special order,' it can be used for any items associated with a customer's order including stocked materials. The special order selection (type) is intended to be used for associating a specific product or pallet of materials with a specific customer's order. Scanner devices may have more issues attempting to scan smaller bar codes, however. A number of different barcode sizes are provided for use with different label sizes.

These are usually the smallest label (1' x 2') and due to their smaller size, and may or may not include a barcode. Price tags are typically used on products or packaging when possible. Bin labels are often printed with a barcode however, this is optional. The default size for this label is the 1' x 3' size. This label type is typically used to affix to a bin or shelf. Since Android™ platform devices don't support printing on their own, label printing is accomplished using a printer configured on the Spruce server. A supported label printer is required (either the Zebra™ QLN420 wireless model or the Zebra ZT230 model wired network printer are supported for use with Spruce AnyWare labels). This transaction corresponds with the Tags & Labels feature found in the Spruce software.
